FAQ
Can I pull off a boudoir session?
Of course you can. He knows you're beautiful; these photos capture a private and playful side of you in a very elegant way. Kate and Alex always work as a team and are great at keeping the mood relaxed but professional; you can even bring a friend along if it will put you more at ease. We shoot on location - most often in our clients' homes, but we also do sessions in hotel rooms when clients are from out of town. And we respect your privacy: we will never share or post any images from your session without your permission.

What should I wear?

We'll be able to include a few wardrobe changes. No special shopping is necessary: it's amazing how sexy you'll be able to make a pair of jeans or a crisp white shirt. Think about your favourite lingerie, shoes, jewelry, team jersey, or other item of clothing that will send a private message, and have them at hand. Remember that we'll be shooting lots of close-ups; treat yourself to having your nails done, and a hairstyle with extra volume will let us play a little more. Keep make-up natural. We've worked with some of the top make up artists in Halifax and can suggest some names if you'd like make-up professionally applied, but it's certainly not necessary; your own personality is all the dressing up you'll need.

How long does it take?

The shoot itself will take about 2 hours and will include a few different wardrobe choices. We'll be ready to bring you into our studio for your Ordering Session within 2 weeks. Hard-cover Art Albums are custom-designed in house, then printed and bound in Italy; if you're planning this as a wedding gift we should plan at least 4 months before the wedding.

What would I do with the photos?

We've found that even the most self-conscious of clients end up loving their boudoir images. Combined into a hard-cover Art Album they really do make an amazing gift for a groom-tobe or as an anniversary present. And for private places in your home we offer a wide range of canvasses and custom framed prints.

What will it cost?

Our regular session fee is $125. At your full-screen Ordering Session in our studio you'll be able to shop canvases, custom-framing and reprints a-la-carte; plus we have a beautiful Designer Album for $750.
